Forgot to write it up earlier: Got an aura after coming out of the game on Wednesday. Small patch right in the centre, grew rapidly over the next fifteen-twenty minutes, just long enough to cover the stop at the chip shop on the way home. No repeat. No pain, as usual. Small amount of confusion, but no more than you might expect from having a kaleidoscope installed in your visual system.

Don't think there was any particular trigger, just tired because I had a short night's sleep earlier, and hungry because I'd missed lunch and dinner.

Started at about 1:00pm, lasted till about 1:30. Inverted crescent, centre right, expanded up and right. Right eye's feeling a bit weak and blurry right now.

First one for a while. Aura started at about 8.10 this morning, a degree or two to the right and below my centre of vision, expanding out up and right, just now reaching the edge of my vision. I think it'll be gone in a minute or so.

Edit: Ooh, that's unusual: got a second one, started the same place as the first, at about 8.55. This one's expanded down and right, and broke up fairly quickly and is largely gone 15min later.

Edit2: Aaand a third! I hope that's it, I could do without a permanent kaleidoscope effect in my vision. Started about 9.50ish.

Think I'll go out for a walk, avoid artificial light and LCD monitors for a bit.

First of the year. Started about ten or fifteen minutes ago, currently arcing horizontally across my right side field of vision. No particular pain, besides a slightly aching back from sitting on the funky stools they have at the library these days. Eh, touching my centre of vision now, making reading a bit difficile. It'll be gone in another ten minutes or so, I expect.

Started after I came out of the Star Trek movie. I can't watch movies with shaky camera work any more, and especially ones that spazz about during action scenes. Felt a bit dizzy when I got out of the cinema, bent over and when I was walking away, there was the aura. About 5° across, right side of the visual field, moving slowly up and out to the right, looking like a cubist aurora. Very pretty colours, but a bit distracting.

Unusually, I have got a headache with this one, but I think that's more down to the movie than the migraine.

I think I really should take this to the doctor. Probably won't be able to do anything, but still....

Been having an aura for the last half-hour or so. It started just after I got out of the car after driving up from Bristol. I walked from the car-park to the all-night supermarket, and as I crossed the threshold, I got hit by a wave of dizziness, and had to bend over for a few seconds. A minute or so later I noticed quite a sizable arc of zigzagging going on in my right visual field.

It's followed the usual course and moved up and out to the edge of vision and disappeared, but a little snarl of it seems to be caught around my right-eye blindspot, which is mildly annoying.

Last one I had was about eighteen months ago, around July 2007, and this is about the fifth or sixth I recall having in about 15 years. They've all been aura-only phenomena, more distracting than anything, but I might mention this one to a doctor, I think.
